Things have been going totally crazy in my family the last few months... The saying when it rains it pours is definitely true. To start my brothers house caught on fire and it destroyed their kitchen and living room. They are currently rebuilding it and it has turned out to be a blessing for them. My sister had to go in for surgery for her back because some things were not working right. When she went into the hospital they found a blood clot in her leg stretching from her ankle to her thigh in the main artery. So they had to postpone her surgery to take care of the blood clot. She just got out of surgery the other day and things are going well with her now.
I got a promotion at work!!! I am super excited because I have been waiting for it for a while. I am now the msr (member services rep) for our Lehi office. I have to take care of pretty much everything there. I have to be in charge of the vault and loans and shipments and pretty much anything you can think of I do it. I love it though. I am still going through a little bit of training but for the most part i do things myself. Alex is doing well at his job too and after his cut backs in his pay his boss might let him have a raise so we are just praying for that at the moment.
That's pretty much the update on our lives. Its pretty boring but Alex and I try to do little things every now and then that keep life upbeat and entertaining. This weekend we are planning on going to a carnival and just having a blast there so i am pretty excited.
Well I have to get back to work.. In this position I am pretty much always busy :(

Super awesome weekend
Man time flies when you are busy with life and all the things going on in it. I didn't think it had been this long since updating my blog. My bad :)
Well this last week has been super fun. It all started when work ended and the weekend began. Friday night Alex and i picked up my dog for the weekend. Bear (my dog) spent friday night in the apartment with us. he was so funny. he had to follow us everywhere and sit right in front of Alex. It was awesome, until we tried to go to bed and then he thought it would be fun suddenly be way full of energy and run all over and jump up on the bed. That was pretty ridiculous. Saturday we took him to petsmart and he LOVED it. He got to pick out his own bone and see all the other little dogs. After that we went to Zarek's birthday party at pirate island and then we left to Nehpi. Bear loved it there. It was a whole new territory to explore.
Saturday night Alex and I got to go To his parents adult meeting before stake conference. L. Tom Perry came and spoke to us and it was so amazing. He is one of my favorite speakers so I loved being able to listen to the wonderful words he had to say. Sunday's talk by him was even better. He has so much inspiration and insight its amazing. He told us to prepare for the future and not let time waste by.
After the sunday session we went back to the inlaws and had a bbq. The food was amazing and I am pretty sure that i out ate everyone. I ate so much food. Anyway overall it was a pretty fantastic weekend.

Wells its been awhile
So its been a super long time since I have updated this so I thought I better Start getting a little better at updating. Alex and I are doing good. Just living the life of work and being married. Its been a little stressful lately because we are trying to find a new place to live because our contract ends in august. I know its a little early to be worried but last time we waited we pretty much ran out of time and at the last moment got a huge blessing by finding a place but I don't want to be in that same place again with all the stress. I just want to be able to take our time to get what we really want. So far we have found a lot of fun cute places. Its a lot more exciting to look at places this time. I find it fun to just take a ride on Alex's motorcycle and just drive around to look at places. We are trying to find a place that allows pets so if any of you know of a place that does please let us know :) Other than that we aren't really doing much. I have been thinking of trying to join a scrap booking class or something to that effect so that I can do something with our wedding pictures. So far the things I have been able to find have been pretty cheap. Any who I best be going because I am at work and technically we aren't supposed to be on here ;)

Oh Boy!
So i am sitting at work and i am going crazy! The day is going by so slow. The only thing that brightened it up was that i got to see my sweet hubby on my lunch break. He honestly is the best guy i know. Yes we get on each other's nerves but he is so patient with me and helps me a ton. Anyway.... i am just sitting here listening to all the people talk out front and watching the weather outside. I just finished reading Jameson's letter ( Alex's brother on his mission) It was pretty interesting. i am glad he is doing pretty good. I am trying to plan something to do for valentines day so if any of you guys have a good idea just let me know. Its kinda the pits that it is on a Sunday but what can you do i guess. well i guess i better get back to work.

Yup Its Saturday
Well we just finished cleaning our place up. It was beginning to look like a storm had blown threw or something so we decided to clean. I am waiting for the laundry to be done so i can fold it. (bleh.. I hate laundry) So while i wait i am playing around on the computer just going through pictures and trying to organize them and listening to pink. Alex just had me listen to her and she is pretty good. Other than that is has been a pretty boring day. Alex is outside tinkering with his car. ( which is where he spends most of his days since we got it back.) A day doesn't go by where he doesn't say babe i want to do this to the car or babe i want to do that to the car. I don't mind though cause at least i know he is happy with what he bought. Yesterday we went to the Temple with Alex's parents. That was a great experience. I love being able to go there and just let my mind go blank and just feel peaceful and happy. We have decided to start going once a month with them. I can't wait. Perhaps next time we go we can do baptisms or sealings. I love doing anything in the temple because anywhere you go you can just feel peaceful and the work you do is just amazing. I am sure the people on the other side feel just as excited to have us go because then they can finally continue on their journey in the after life. Its an amazing place. Well i best get back to doing laundry the buzzer just went off.

Hello
Well I just created this blog today. I was kinda bored at work so i decided that i would make one since this is the cool thing to do now days :). I am still trying to get the hang of it and i have to add pictures to make everything look good.
So i guess i will just start at the beginning when alex and i first met.
Its kinda a long story but its fun :). It starts way back when i was still in highschool and one of alex's best friends just got home from his mission. My family was in moab on vacation and alex and his best friend decided to come down and drive with some friends that were with my family. I don't actually remember meeting him and he doesn't remember meeting me but on the trails he was in the jeep behind me and he is actually in some of our family photos of the trip. Well the next time we met was when I went out with his best friend and he was on his way to washington to do summer sales for linx satellite company. we met just for a few hours and all i remember of it was him instaling a new sub in his car and him eating the ice cream I had got for the night. I don't think he really remembers meeting me then. just bits and peices of the guys bragging about my jeep. He was gone for the summer after that and i just played with my friends and didn't really date much. Just before he came home our mutual friend brandee kept texting me that she really wanted me to meet a guys she knew. She said we wasn't home just yet but as soon as he came home she really wanted us to go on a date together. Well I didn't really know if i wanted to go but i didn't have anything else to do so i decided to go out with him. I remember him texting me to ask for my address and i found out that he was staying with his grandma just down the street from me. (His grandma happened to be in my ward at the time and her son married my sisters best friend so we became really good friends.) When he picked me up i remember opening the door and just seeing him smile at me and all i could think was, Oh my i am going to have to grow a bit this guy is so tall! Which is funny cause he thought i was way short and didn't know if he would like that. That night when he dropped me off we talked in his car for about two hours before i finally went inside. After that i had decided that he was a pretty neat guy and i liked him and i thought it would be fun to date him. He thought the same thing so that was pretty much the beginning of our relationship. about a week after that he asked if i wanted to go steady with him which got me way excited cause i had never dated anyone steady before. About three of four months of dating alex knew that he wanted to marry me. I wasn't so sure. He was the first guy i had ever dated and i didn't know if i was really done. After about eight or nine months of dating i was finally ready and we got engaged june 8, he proposed on top of a fire truck because i want to be a firefighter someday and it was the sweetest thing ever. i had no idea it was coming. I was super excited and i said yes. on october 10, 2009 we were married in the salt lake temple at nine twenty in the morning. It was the best day ever! It has been an adventure ever since. I love him and i don't know what i would do without him.
